Sadly I was dumped shortly after buying the antenna, so it hasn't been installed yet. I'm hoping to find a tent or a good sized cardboard box to live in and I'll let you know how the antenna works from there. Best regards L. Harlow and no this isnt a joke,,, well, maybe the cardboard box is, but not the tent, I am homeless,,, even though I work every day, go figure.
I wish the antennas direct people would have given me an option for mounting to my HIP style roof. It wasn't until I got up there I realized one panel facing north is pointing upwards and the south facing antenna panel is facing downwards. Not optimum for reception. Make sure if you have a slanting roof to shim one side or something to get the antenna facing straight instead of too much up or down. I used the DB8e antenna to get Milwaukee & Chicago. Before this, I was using a Mohu Leaf inside my living room and getting channels I can no longer receive with the DB8e.
