I bought this antenna to replace a Clearstream 2CV. After changing the position of the reflectors a few times, I was able to get about 30 channels. With the older antenna, there was a channel that would only come in for a few hours at a time at random intervals (maybe a few times a week, the. Not for months). With the DB8E, I receive it crystal clear all the time. Even in sunny weather, I receive stronger signals with only a little breaking up. The same channels would be almost unwatchable in sunny weather with the old antenna. The two positionable reflectors with the DB8E is a huge plus. I'd definitely recommend this antenna.

The Universal J-Mount did not work with the way I wanted to install the antenna. I thought I was ordering a mount which I could use vertically. I had to modify the installation by drilling 2 holes above the bend that matched the holes on the bracket. It would be nice if you could supply a mounting system for a vertical installation for those who do not want to attach it to the roof.

The extra 20 inches over the standard 20 inch mount made a big difference. I now receive additional Boston channels and the interference I was receiving from local channels has been reduced quite a bit. I highly recommend this mount!

I did a lot of research and received many recommendations before purchasing my antenna. It was a great purchase. It took about 30-45 min to assemble. My only challenge was hanging it by myself on the house.
