Bet you didn’t even know you needed the Pro!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first admit: I've been a Kitchenaid Artisan girl for a long time... been through 3 iterations of them, each of which upgrading was a preference, not a breakdown issue. I've been very happy with artisan's performance and have used them heavily by themselves and with a plethora of attachments from meat grinding to zucchini noodles and everything in between. But one fateful evening, I listened over dinner with a coworker over how she bought a Kitchenaid Pro and "everything's better, bread is fantastic, cookie dough superior, blah blah blah." This went on for much longer than I thought it should have! But, yes, when it was time to do another upgrade, I jumped on the Kitchenaid Pro Boat to check it out. I really had no specific reason I needed the upgrade, more curiosity than anything else, and I truly didn't expect to find anything much different from my artisan that I've loved for so long.
Yes, I understand why my friend went on and on about it now. Just Wow! Its quite hard to describe without someone just using it, but she was completely correct - the home recipe batter that I've been making for years came out with a FAR superior texture. I have many people in my family with health conditions that require very specific diets, leading me to create some very strange cakes that are devoid of sugar, and  most things that make cakes easy to make - so they tend to come out rather strangely too. Using this Pro Line Bowl lift 7 Quart, I've had them come out as close to actual "normal" cakes as Ive ever seen! (any one who makes crazy diet restriction treats knows this is quite an accomplishment.) Making Bread dough with this has been a game changer too, this machine couldn't be more stable while working on my challah bread (of course, best french toast ever!) It feels like this thing could run all day without blinking an eye, the only problem I've had with it was that I didn't realize I wasn't clicking the bowl fully on the machine in the back (It has a divitt on the back of the pot that goes into a hole on the back, which makes it super sturdy. I was just laying it on until I thought it felt secure, leading me to hear a clicking sound when it was on. I felt super silly after I realized what I did, but when clicked in properly it runs effortlessly. I also must admit, I overuse the double flex edge attachment - it's just so satisfying to see it mix up absolutely every last molecule in the bowl :) By far, this is the best experience I've had with mixers, and if you're even slightly considering going with the pro, take the leap. It's just plain shocking to see how the extra power improves everything!

Beauty and functionality collide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 7-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer is so much more versatile and easier to use than I remember my old KItchenaid mixer being. It has more speed settings than I know what to do with, and the various included attachments make it extremely functional for beating, mixing, folding, kneading, shredding, and more. The pouring shield is also a favorSpite of mine since it not only allows me to easily add more ingredients into the mixer while in use, but it keeps my counters clean by preventing splashing outside of the bowl. Having previously owned a tilt-head mixer, I can state my preference for the bowl-lift type due to it providing more clearance between the mixing blade and bowl when doing my prep work, and it also allows me to control the depth of my blade when in use. Although the bowl can get very heavy when full due to its 7 quart volume, lifting the bowl up with the bowl-lift mechanism makes the bowl feel weightless. The mixer itself might also be considered heavy, as it does weight about 30 pounds, but the benefit is that the mixer does not vibrate or shake no matter how much weight I have inside the bowl. Because of this, I know the mixer isn't going to stray or do damage to my counter or glass stovetop. Although this mixer is a bakers' delight, I have personally enjoyed it for preparing savory dishes such as meatloaf, meatballs, pulled pork sandwiches, and dips using shredded chicken. It has saved my wrists and hands from the stress of mixing and shredding tough meats, and is a whole lot neater too. It takes a powerful motor to be able to shred and mix dense items such as ground beef and dough without flinching, which makes it that much more impressive how quiet the machine is considering. The glossy acylic-type paint finish not only makes it a beautiful accessory for your countertop, but it prevents food from sticking and allows for an easy clean up. Lastly I will mention how good I feel knowing how expandable and future-proofed this mixer is with being able to purchase various other hub attachments such as the pasta maker, food processor and even meat grinder to add even more functionality in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid is the gold standard of stand mixers for a reason. Every cooking show I watch has a KitchenAid mixer which proves the quality. I've used this mixer for making dough, making brownies, making pancake dough, and making pasta. I bought several attachments for this mixer because it can do SO MANY THINGS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this KitchenAid mixer that I got and I enjoy using it for everyday baking. So far I have use it to make cookies and then also Irish soda bread for St Patrick's Day. Everything so far has turned out really good and it is really helpful to have the pouring shield which has helped to prevent spills. The one thing I really like is that it's a seven quart bowl so it makes it easier for doubling recipes and doing it all at once. I also really love the red color and all the accessories that it came with which will make baking more easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded from our smaller Kitchen Aid mixer to the 7 quart mixer and man what a difference. We get the same great quality of our old mixer, but with more space giving us the capability of bigger batches. We have a large family any we need all we can get out of each batch. It also makes our holiday backing go that much faster. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m totally in love with my Kitchen Aid 7 quart mixer. I love baking and have always wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer and I finally have one. Its red color is beautiful and it does so much and saves me so much time from doing everything by hand. I’ve baked cakes and made biscuits and cookies and pancakes and everything .I love that the bowl lifts. That’s my favorite feature. I recommend a kitchen aide to everyone. Great quality and easy to use. Not noisy at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are any kind of baker, you need this in your kitchen. There are so many things you can do with this piece of equipment with the right attachment. With this, you get the following attachments: wisk, dough hook, mixing blade, bowl and splatter shield. This is an awesome mixer that can tackle that batch of cookies or bread you want to mix up without killing your arm.
