Amazing vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum gets into tight spaces that a Normal vacuum without the swivel feature wouldn't get. It's easy to turn on with the power button being on the bottom accessible with your foot. The benefits of this product are it cleans rugs and floors very well and deep. The pros of this model is that it has been able to collect more dust/hair then my old vacuum. The only negatives I noticed were that the swivel action makes like some sort of grinding noise when moving it a certain direction. Also it's pretty heavy in weight. This product is great if you have pets and dust bunnies! Definitely recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Great Vaccum, Great Price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vaccum performs admirably for the price. Good suction from both the Vaccum and the hose. Easy to empty HEPA filter bagels tank. Good on carpet and hardwood floors.

Powerful Upright with the right amount of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we were very happy with the construction of the vacuum and felt like it was durable enough to last nearly daily vacuuming (dogs). We have a 50/50 mix of hardwood and rugs and although would have preferred the transition knob closer to the handle for ease of transition, it did work flawlessly. it did have some weight behind it, which we forgot about since we were coming from a cordless stick, but the wheels made push/pull pretty easy.

Great and simple vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have marble flooring, tile, rugs and carpet in our home. While cleaning the tile floor, the vacuum was able to clean up all debris including the dirt that was in the grout when passing over. This tile is not smooth. When used on the slick marble flooring, the vacuum struggled even on the hardwood setting. It was able to suck up pet hair with ease but when it came to rice or small pieces of dirt, it took several passes. On the bathroom rugs, it was easier to use the attachment as the suction from the vacuum was too strong to clean it. The vacuum exceeded my expectations on the carpets. The visual satisfaction of the clear dirt container made cleaning fun as it sucked up even the smallest piece of sand with ease. As for the attachments, the white head worked great at dusting side tables, window, etc. The shorter attachment with the fabric strip was fantastic on couches and pet beds. It picked up all of the pet fur with ease! Upon cleaning our carpeted stairs, I came to the realization that the vacuum wouldn't work. The attachments were great but couldn't give me that deep clean I wanted. A motorized head with bristles would of made this vacuum excellent! Cleaning the physical vacuum was a breeze! Overall, it is a great basic vacuum. I would highly recommend it to users who have tile and carpet flooring!

Great Vacuuming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum seems to work magic on my floors. This vacuum was very easy to set up. I really loved that it has the swivel feature, because I can easy move around the corners of hard to lift furniture/items. The telescopic extension wand is a plus at reaching difficult places. Most other vacuum cleaners only have a regular wand, so I'm excited for this bonus wand that Hoover has added. I was happy to see that this vacuum picked up much more dust than my old one. It's very easy to remove the dirt without it wasting everywhere. I would buy and recommend this vacuum cleaner without a doubt.#Bzz

GREAT VACUUM -- DOES IT ALL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start we have had all brands of vacuums from Dyson to Sharks. This vacuum was etremely easy to assemble very little effort required good directions and thhe pices fit together perfectly creating solid connections. When you user the vaccum you will realize it is a sturdy vacuum but still fairly light weight for its features. This vacuum rolls about either on carpet or hardfloors with minimal effort and almost pulls itself which is a nice feature.I used this vacuum on carpeting and it picked up much more I felt than our previous vacuum (Shark). When used on hard wood floors again it did perform equally as well with strong suction and getting even heavier pieces of debri without fail. I do use attatchments each time I vacuum as I feel that as apposed to dusting which spreads dust vacuuming the dust actually removes it from your home, what a novel thought. The hose and attatments were extremely easy to use and provided more than enough suction for everything from dust to corners of the kitchen with a few spilled popcorn kernals which are at times hard for other vaccums to gather, not this vacuum. Dust bin is very adequatly sized and very easy to empty, much easier than other models I have owned. Extremely happy with this new vacuum and look forward to many years of use with the well designed unit.
