Lifter design is awful.

Didn't have it a few weeks and the lifter tab broke. Can use it as long as it never comes off the floor. This model is not very good.

Do not buy this product!!!

I bought this vacuum cleaner late last year at Thanksgivings. I used it twice and the belt broke. I ordered spare parts ahead of time so I replaced it. Used it another time and belt broke. This time I took it to local authorized service center for service. The shop does not have the belt, so I came home to bring the second of the belts I ordered earlier to the shop. Shop serviceman was very kind to replace it free of charge. Once I got it home, plug it in but before I stated using it, the belt broke again. Now I am ready to put it into my big round can for disposal. I will never buy another Hoover again. The "chat" service is not working, the email link is not working. I am sorry, no more Hoover for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had this for a year and it would always give me issues. Some days it wouldn't suck up any dirt so I would vacuum for nothing. The worst part of it all is it completely died on me just after a year! No one will do anything about it either.

This product is made of cheap plastic! I would not recommend it at all. The knob in which you turn to elevate the vacuum based on your carpet height does not work at all and is poorly designed.

Its worth more than its cost. Sucks dirty up and stirs the fibers superbly. Makes the fibers fluffier and by removing more dirt the fibers are cleaner and much easier to do a rug shampoo. This vacuum exceeds my Miele witch cost hundreds more. Other vacuums move and handle easier but don't clean as well as this, especially for the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, but the power cord seems to end up under the wheel a lot. My old Hoover vacuum had the power cord attach on the handle post and this didn't happen. Seems like there needs to be a clip or something to hold the power cord out of the way. Very good otherwise.

The suction is very good on all surfaces. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because I miss the retractable power cord!
