It cleans so good!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older expensive vacuum and I purposely used it right before using the new Hoover Elite, and I was shocked!!! There was so much dirt and dog hair that was sucked up by the Hoover. I thought my floors were clean before, but I was wrong. They are now clean after using the Hoover Elite!!!! I 100% recommended this!!!

I finally found a GREAT vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought vacuum after vacuum trying to find the best but most functional way to keep my floors clean. I spent quite a bit on my latest one, and I vacuum at least weekly, sometimes more. But to my surprise, this Hoover showed me just how second rate mine was! I did deep vacuuming...not a quick run over...with my vacuum, then I used my new Hoover just to try out how it swiveled, etc. To my surprise and horror, my new Hoover picked up SO.MUCH.DUST from floors that I thought were clean! Not only is it easy to use and maneuver, but it cleans deeper and more effectively than any vacuum I have had! I use it on my carpet, laminate, tile, and hardwood areas. And I am sold on Hoover now!

Way better than my Dyson

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Multiple carpet settings (low, max, high), plus a hard floor setting. I did a 8'x8' carpet area and it seemed to collect a whole dog :). Seriously though, between the rotating brush and the suction it pulled up more dog hair than my previous vacuum. I was impressed. Emptying is easy, disconnect the canister from the vacuum, hold over your garbage and press the release button with a trash icon on it. It comes with a few attachments: a hand brush, narrow wand, and a telescoping extension wand. However, I'm not impressed with them. Not a ton of suction power and the brush doesn't swivel so you sometimes need to hold it at an awkward angle depending on what you are cleaning. I can look past that since it will mostly be used for large carpet areas. The body and handle swivel to allow for easy maneuverability around furniture and other obstacles. It isn't heavy, but that makes it prone to tipping if you are using the hand held attachments and pulling the hose. Super long cord, as least 30 feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Hoover products for a long time because they work and are great value for my money..This Hoover High Performance Swivel XL Vacuum does not disappoint ..It is very attractive and appears well made of quality materials and quite durable..It is light weight and easy to move around furniture..The cord is a good length so I did not need to change plugs when cleaning my large family room..The vacuum has great suction power and easily moves from carpet to hardwood with with a switch of the dial.. The canister was easy to detach and to empty. A plus is the HEPA carbon filter ...Recommend to all family and friends.

GREAT on carpets, just OK on bare floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has become a staple in our cleaning lineup and works extremely well on carpets of all thicknesses, we have two large dogs both with long hair and this thing grabs it all. It does struggle a bit on bare floors and misses some of the smaller crumbs, but it still works well enough as we mop right after. The one big caveat is the beater bar, do NOT use this on any small/thin (entry way/hall way) rugs because the vacuum will suck up a corner and get the rug caught in the bar. I had one rug have the stitching ripped out from this. Also be cautious using it near low laying curtains because of this same issue. Otherwise, I'm pretty pleased with this vacuum.

Great vacuum cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Dyson that is biting the dust after several years, so this was a replacement. It works just as well, for a much lower cost. The downside is that it has a high pitch noise that hurts my ears, and those of other family members (hence the 4 stars and not 5). We are on a lake and sand/dirt/grass is a constant fight on the floor and carpeting. This vacuum has handled it with no problem. Pet sheds and long hair haven't been a challenge for it either and it seems to pick them up with ease. I have yet to notice hair getting stuck on the rotating brush. I would buy this again, especially if the noise issue is fixed. We are hoping it dies down with some time. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum to others!

Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum performed very well. Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum picked up everything on my floor and left it very very clean. Overall, Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum is an excellent vacuum cleaner.

Love this vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is amazing. I love that it swivels and I can get right up against stuff with out really having to reposition. The hardwood floor option is great since I do have hard wood and then an area rug. I picked up so much more stuff then my other vacuum I was really shocked. I love that the hose extender isn't separate pieces but you can make it however long and lock it in place. All in all this is definitely a vacuum and brand I would love to keep buying in the future.
