I had just bought a shark vacuum 3 weeks before and I did my own test on quality. So I vacuumed with my Shark first while my husband put together the Hoover. ( Super simple in 4 pieces hose, container, handle, and body self explanatory no instructions were even needed everything popped right together. I could have done this myself but I wanted to try it quickly. I was exstatic ) Fyi*The tank was completely clean* I vacuumed over the same exact rug that I had just vacuumed with the Shark just moments before,and when I got done I had a half a container full. I was amazed and angry at the same time. I vacuumed a Total three rooms, after the shark vacuum, to get half a container full! There are many attachments and extensions for upholstery and getting in cracks and crevices. There are also four levels for flooring for high medium low carpet as well as hardwood floors. Hardwood floors I've never been able to vacuum and get clean to my standard there's always blowing around or dog hair and this does not do that there's nothing blowing around whether it's the filters or just the mass amount of suction that the Hoover creates it cleans my hardwood floors it's not necessary for me to use the broom and the vacuum which cuts my cleaning time an hour easy. I'm just completely amazed with this vacuum I'm in love with this vacuum I recommended it to everyone and I would definitely purchase Hoover from now on. I accidentally sucked up a paper towel and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get the vacuum hose unclogged. It was so simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good vacuum line in my carpet! My previous vacuum was a Dyson DC50, which I have loved for MANY years. After using the Hoover Elite Swivel, I have come to a realization. Although my Dyson works great at getting the dirt, it wasn't making my carpet stand up like the Hoover does. I get awesome vacuum lines with the Hoover. It's also AMAZING with sucking up hair without it getting tangled in the brush. I love how big the dirt canister is. My only complaint are that the rear wheels are too big to get under some of my furniture, and also where the cord comes off the vacuum is low and it seems to always be under foot when vacuuming. Overall, great performing vacuum that I'm very happy with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This upright vacuum cleaner from Hoover is a total game changer. We have very plush carpet in our apartment and it cleans up everything so well. The suction power of the 10 amp motor is amazing! The filter made with HEPA media gets rid of the tiniest dust and dirt particles. Innovative dual cyclone technology cleans even the embedded dirt and dust. Its great especially if you have pets. Comes with a bunch of tools to clean couches, blinds, hard to reach corners etc. Excellent product from the leading brand Hoover!

Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the vacuum for a couple of weeks now. It works well on carpet and hardwood floors. The suction is a little weak from time to time on the hardwoods. It picks up pet hair pretty well too. The tools small but get the job done. I like that it is bagless and very easy to empty. Stepping on the front to release it tasks some getting used to. Also, I would prefer if it had a longer cord. I would recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to test this Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum, for free in exchange for my opinion. I have owned a Shark for over ten years. I swore that was the best out there. Then I met this Hoover. It is lightweight, has incredible suction and is quieter than my Shark. I was actually disgusted the first time I used the Hoover, at how much dirt was left behind by the Shark. The Hoover has settings for high carpet, medium carpet, low carpet and, hard surfaces. The dust cup is huge as compared to my Shark. It is easy to dump and clean. The cord is long enough that I can almost vacuum my whole house without changing outlets many times. The swivel feature makes it easy to get underneath and around things. I am so happy to have been given this opportunity, because I LOVE my new Hoover. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone, any time.

I vacuumed my carpet with a slightly used vacuum cleaner, then I decided to put this vacuum cleaner to the test and vacuumed over the same area. I didn't think it would pick up anything! BUT to my amazement there was alot that my old vacuum cleaner was leaving in my carpets YUCK. I love this vacuum cleaner and would recommend it 10/10

The BEST Vacuum EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does this amazing vacuum go from hardwoods to carpet smoothly and effortlessly, but the cord is long enough that I can do half the house without having to unplug it! And THAT is a HUGE sell for me! The brush and wand attachments are great, I love that the filter is washable and made with HEPA Media, which captures 99.97% of dust and particles (and dog hair!!!) because it helps myself, my family and even my dogs with our Allergies! I HIGHLY Recommend and would give 100 stars if possible! Thank you, Hoover!
