New Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum works great. At first, I had a hard time maneuvering this vacuum because of the, "swivel" feature. I'm not used to using this type. But..after getting used to it, I'm better now. As far as function, it works great. It glides along the floor, very well. We have hardwood floors, and also some large area rugs, that need vacuuming frequently, because of having a small dog. My old vacuum didn't work as well as this one, for the floors. It would, "spit" the dirt right back out, on the back side. On the rugs, this vacuum beats my old vacuum, hands down. Not to mention, the old one litterly smelled like, "wet dog" when using it. I like all the attachments, but the only drawback to those and the reason for giving a four star review, is because the hose could could be a little longer, for those..." hard to reach places." We haven't tried emptying the canister of dirt and hair yet, but the.."see thru," feature is great, as to...when to empty. Overall, this is a great vacuum that I would reccomend to friends and family. Thank you for the opportunity!

Smooth and Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Upright Swivel Vacuum works like a dream! It is heavy as it is xl, but still it glides easily and smoothly across our laminate, hard wood and carpeted floors. Best of all, the pick up is amazing! It clears the floor of more debris than are even visible and is a dream compared to our other name brand vacuums. I received this product free to sample.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to review this vacuum and its honestly the best I have had and used so far it has great suction power, works on my carpet and hardwood floor and picks practically everything up from pet hair to toddler messes.

Strong suction and lovely design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love tbe strong suction and ability to pull up any and all dirt from our carpets. We have a dog, and my children and I have long hair that sheds everywhere. This vacuum sucks it all up with ease. It's adjustable to the carpet height, swivels and maneuvers seamlessly around corners, and has strong suction. It has the hose and brush attachments as well for getting deep into places you can't easily clean. It also has an easy to remove, bagless container for debris. The cord seems longer than any other vacuum I've owned, fabulously for cleaning larger rooms. The only small issue is that it has a whistling sound when on and vacuuming.my ears are very sensitive, so it may just be me that hears it, but it is very slight when on. Also, it's a bit heavier than other vacuums that I've owned. All in all, I would recommend and really do like this Hoover vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Elite Swivel Upright Vacuum has several positives. First of all, assembly is quick and easy. Next, it's very powerful! It leaves a clean smell behind after vacuuming. It swivels effortlessly is a big plus also. Pet hair also is not a big problem for this vacuum to eradicate. It picks up deeply embedded hair and dirt from carpet and rugs. It also does a flawless job on floors! I love this vacuum!

My Favorite Household Tool #Hoover

I had just bought a shark vacuum 3 weeks before and I did my own test on quality. So I vacuumed with my Shark first while my husband put together the Hoover. ( Super simple in 4 pieces hose, container, handle, and body self explanatory no instructions were even needed everything popped right together. I could have done this myself but I wanted to try it quickly. I was exstatic ) Fyi*The tank was completely clean* I vacuumed over the same exact rug that I had just vacuumed with the Shark just moments before,and when I got done I had a half a container full. I was amazed and angry at the same time. I vacuumed a Total three rooms, after the shark vacuum, to get half a container full! There are many attachments and extensions for upholstery and getting in cracks and crevices. There are also four levels for flooring for high medium low carpet as well as hardwood floors. Hardwood floors I've never been able to vacuum and get clean to my standard there's always blowing around or dog hair and this does not do that there's nothing blowing around whether it's the filters or just the mass amount of suction that the Hoover creates it cleans my hardwood floors it's not necessary for me to use the broom and the vacuum which cuts my cleaning time an hour easy. I'm just completely amazed with this vacuum I'm in love with this vacuum I recommended it to everyone and I would definitely purchase Hoover from now on. I accidentally sucked up a paper towel and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get the vacuum hose unclogged. It was so simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good vacuum line in my carpet! My previous vacuum was a Dyson DC50, which I have loved for MANY years. After using the Hoover Elite Swivel, I have come to a realization. Although my Dyson works great at getting the dirt, it wasn't making my carpet stand up like the Hoover does. I get awesome vacuum lines with the Hoover. It's also AMAZING with sucking up hair without it getting tangled in the brush. I love how big the dirt canister is. My only complaint are that the rear wheels are too big to get under some of my furniture, and also where the cord comes off the vacuum is low and it seems to always be under foot when vacuuming. Overall, great performing vacuum that I'm very happy with.
