The bread dough would not rise before baking the two times I tried. I sent the bread maker back. It was a terrible machine.

An average grade for an average machine. I can't hear the notification noise to remove the paddle. I have to set an external timer when to remove the paddle, which is fine, so I'm not stuck in the kitchen for an hour and 12 minutes. Old recipes ,#100, don't translate. But other differences has me on my third try to convert. The bread is edible so nothing is wasted. If I can get the Mix In function to work correctly, then I shall be satisfied.

I originally purchased this model about 15 years ago and enjoyed using it so much that I bought the latest version when my old one finally stopped working. It is super easy to use and convenient. Clean up is a snap! I sometimes bake my recipes in my regular oven after mixing and raising the dough in the bread maker depending on the recipe I am making, such as rolls or hot cross buns. This saves mixing and kneading by hand and there's no mess! The only downside is that, depending on the recipe, sometimes the crust is a little hard even with the lightest setting.

I love my bread machine. I have had one before and never could get my bread to come out good. I have made several loaves with this one and only one time of failed and that was my fault for not measuring correctly. If you are thinking about getting a bread machine I highly recommend this one.

I bought a new Cuisinart Custom Convection Breadmaker (Model : CBK210 Series) to replace my old Cuisinart Convection Breadmaker (Model: CBK 200) that I just loved. I was expecting to have similar results with the new one, just as I did for many years with my old one - unfortunately my expectations have not been met. The new breadmaker makes loaves that a nearly inedible, the loaves are very heavy, dense, and have a texture of days old bread right out of the appliance. I'm very disappointed with this item so far. If I could give it a rating of -10, I would!

I'm a 1st time owner of a bread machine. I saw an older model of this machine at my daughter's and was impressed with what she showed me. The directions are straight forward, especially for a "newbie". I've tried 3 recipes from the user guide book and am very satisfied.
Anxious to try new ones. Especially fond of the 3 loaf size options, and the "add ins" feature. Have used both features successfully.
Slight Cons: Being unable to wash the bread pan and dough paddle in the dishwasher, is a REAL downer. The size makes it take up significant counter space (I understand all machines do as well).
The pros outweigh the cons significantly.
