It’s ok. Not overly thrilled with it. Hoping my breads start to come out better. I’ve followed directions to a tee but still come out crumbly. It’s quite noisy. The instructions are a little confusing.

I’m on my fourth bread maker, the last two being Cuisinart models CBK100 and now a CBK210. I’m probably making 20-30 loaves of bread a year. The CBK 100 lasted quite a while with the ultimate failure being the o-ring seals in the bread pan wearing out. I managed to replace seals once, finding the correct size in a hardware store. Unfortunately these didn’t hold up due to the extreme heat and eventually the pan began to leak liquids. Why Cuisinart doesn’t offer replacement parts for the bread pan such as seals and paddles and pan only is beyond me. There was much chatter on line as to whether the pan for the CBK 210 will fit a 100 series. Answer is no. 210 series pan locked in differently and second which is a major gripe, the pan is smaller length wise. So in other words, your bread needs to rise higher on the 210 series than the 100 series. The 210 makes a great 1.5 lb loaf but all my 2.0 lb loaves have come out spherical dome shape. I attribute this to smaller length of the pan. Finally, the recipes in the 210 book are fewer and a little more additions type. I’ve previous recipes from my past bread machines and the 2 lb loaves don’t rise. For the money I won’t buy another Cuisinart. Buy a machine that gives you bread length and not height, talking maybe an inch longer inside. I would not recommend the CBK 210 bread maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smaller, stylish and functional

This is my second one. I love it. It is smaller but the bread size is close to the same as the older model. I sometimes have a hard time getting the start button to start but after a few presses it does. The bread is very nice. I even took it in my RV last week and made a loaf of Dilly Bread. I usually make the 1.5 or 1 lb loaf.

OK for price. Needs better solutions for kneading

Like the concept. The recipes are just OK. Found much better ones online. Hard to pause and adjust time when kneading is not doing well. Usually have to start over. Needs to have a "remove paddle" pause during a gluten-free recipe.

So far not great for gluten free

I might update to more stars later but so far I have made 6 loaves of bread, 5 of which were gluten free using 4 different GF recipes. None have turned out well. The worst was the recipe in the book that came with the machine, which was an awful, dry, dense block of gray "bread", most of which we threw away. You would think the recipes in the book that come with the machine would have been tested first. In addition, after only 6 uses I've gotten the EE2 error code and will have to be troubleshooting that. I was excited that it had a gluten free setting but so far it's not working well and most of the bread is under-baked (but when I added some time at the end using the bake only cycle, that's when I got the error code). Maybe for regular bread this is a better machine, and maybe it will be fine once I experiment more , but for now I think it would be better without the GF setting, so will be trying a custom setting next.

Bread bread and more bread.

As of the first month of use, I have made a dozen different breads and a brownie. The machine is flawless and fun to use. I hang around the first kneed to make sure all the flour has been incorporated then let it finish by itself. The nut tray is a bit small but it's better to add them a little at a time manually rather than one clump. I foresee many loaves in my future.

Sensitive Buttons

When I paused the machine and attempted to restart it, all settings were cleared. I couldn't figure out how to restart on rise 2. Buttons are sensitive and need to be touched lightly to not shut off machine. Feeling better about machine now, but restarting on rise 2 or 3 would be helpful.
I would recommend this to a friend!
