I bought this breadmaker after my old one bit the dust - it appears the heating coils in it were not heating properly. It was also a no-name machine I received as a gift. I LOVE having fresh bread made with my own ingredience and started my search for my next, best bread machine. I looked through around 15 different machines and this one had everything I wanted and more. One reason is the way this one is laid out with the bread bucket on the side/front where my old one, the bucket was at the back and because I'm shorter, made it difficult to get to the bucket after the bread was finished. Another was that cool little slot to automatically add ingredience to the bread, like cinnamon sugar for a breakfast bread. And last, but by no means least, I have a Cuisinart food processor and an ice cream maker - both have worked flawlessly for several years meaning that the Cuisinart folks make quality products!

I got the bread machine as a Christmas gift. So far I have made raisin bread, cinnamon bread, bagels and currently working on sour dough starter. No mishaps so far! The machine has worked as described and I am happy with the results. So much more diversity than previous bread machine I had.

I love my bread baker! It was very easy to use. Put the ingredients in the loaf pan in the order on the recipe, push a few buttons, and it does the rest.
