I'm a 1st time owner of a bread machine. I saw an older model of this machine at my daughter's and was impressed with what she showed me. The directions are straight forward, especially for a "newbie". I've tried 3 recipes from the user guide book and am very satisfied.
Anxious to try new ones. Especially fond of the 3 loaf size options, and the "add ins" feature. Have used both features successfully.
Slight Cons: Being unable to wash the bread pan and dough paddle in the dishwasher, is a REAL downer. The size makes it take up significant counter space (I understand all machines do as well).
The pros outweigh the cons significantly.

We are very happy with our new breadmaker. We've had perfect results for each loaf we've made. It's really nice having the beeper to let you know you can remove the paddle so there will be no hole in the bread. We made the right decision when we picked this bread maker.

I had been waiting far too long to take the leap and buy this bread maker, and I wholeheartedly wish I had bought it sooner. This is such an easy way to get into bread making, and the included recipes are enough to keep you busy for a while. Initially, I was hoping this bread machine would eliminate some of the weekly grocery costs (minus the cost of ingredients), but now I find it's enough to have some fresh bread to offer friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers.
One of the few units I've been able to find that is both relatively affordable and not inundated with unnecessary plastics. Very easy to clean and simple to use. The only thing I would suggest for anyone buying this is to keep track of the paddle; I can't tell you how many times I've loaded the basket with ingredients and gone to start the cycle only to find the paddle sitting off to the side of the machine, leading to some sticky hands and dirty countertops (your hands and counters were going to get dirty, anyway).
