The brushed stainless steel Cuisinart® Electric Skillet is one of the most versatile countertop cooking appliances on the market and a valuable addition to any kitchen. A temperature probe adjusts from Warm to 450°F and can be removed to make the Skillet dishwasher safe. The nonstick cooking surface is ideal for low-fat or no-fat cooking and is big enough for family orders of pancakes, or a fajita with friends.

I used the Cuisinart-Electric Skillet to sear steaks for the first time on 7/10/18. The steaks were perfect. I set the temperature to 450 degrees the skillet heats quickly and holds it temperature . The steaks were perfect.

I continue to own several Cuisinart products, including 2 prior skillets which eventually because of many uses lost the stick-resistant coating. My new skillet makes unpleasant popping sounds when heating and the thermostat is very incorrect and unpredictable. I am very, very disappointed.

Would prefer it without Teflon which all seem to have these days. A digital temperature control would also be preferable. I had a very loved Farber ware electric skillet which was not Teflon and it was the BEST. I had to replace the control unit once in the thirty years I had it but I could not find another replacement after that broke - so I have bought and thrown out three Teflon coated low priced ones over the past decade. What a waste! I hope this new Cuisinart is durable in all ways. Quite good in its first month!

The nonstick surface is perfect for cooking fried foods. The size of the surface area is large enough tot feed a large family consuming less time because of the amount of food cooked at once.
