I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I love the weight, the shape, the nonstick finish, but having trouble with the thermostat control. When I set it to the desired temp, it heats up fast, but when things start to cook it seems like the heat shuts way down? I may file a warranty claim. Cuisinart is such a respected brand, so it surprises me I'm having this issue.

We replaced out old one with this and it is a great improvement in that it is evenly heated all over so everything is ready at the same time, such as pancakes. Also, it heats quickly and is sturdily constructed and we hope to use it for many years.
