I just purchased the Hoover Smart Wash Carpet Cleaner after watching the infomercial. It cleans well and does pretty well with pet hair. It doesn't really dry the carpet, but it dries in a few hours.

I bought this to clean my area rugs, since a professional cleaner charges so much. It really worked well and I was very happy with the results. My only problem was that you really need to press hard to seat the dirty water container and before I discovered that, I had some leaking issues. But after I corrected it, no problem. I really liked that it comes apart for cleaning. My old machine did not do that and now, after cleaning my whole house, the machine still looks new.

This product was easy to assemble and its super easy to use. Just fill and empty basically thats it. Pulles dirt up great it just doesn't pull enough water out of the carpet. Drying time like 2 days. I really love the cleaning ability so I'm all in for this product.

I bought this a few weeks ago and we cleaned our carpets right away. I've used it 3 other times since and have had a number of pieces break already including the solution cap and some of the pieces off the bottom cover. My husband and I have both tried to call customer service a dozen times and sat on hold for way too long and we still haven't spoken to anyone!

This machine is amazing. It cleans extremely well! I love that it is all automatic and there is no trigger to push to activate the water- push forward and water and cleaning product goes into rug- pull back and the machine sucks it's back up along with dirt! I also cant leave this review without mentioning the ease of cleaning the machine once finished. The roller brushes come out to rinse them in a flash. And back in just as easily. The whole machine was well thought out. 5 stars and thumbs way up Hoover! Also thank you for your wonderful customer service! :)
