I bought this within the last month. Received it very quickly. Have used it twice so far. Like it's light weight and ease of filling both soap and water compartments. Emptying dirty water compartment is easy, as well. What I don't like is having to clean the brush area out each time I stop to empty dirty water compartment. Having 2 dogs probably one reason for this, as well as this being the first time carpet has been cleaned! It is easy to open up cover and take brushes out to clean, but is something that has to be done several times. Also don't like that it takes quite a bit of rinsing after having used the rug shampoo. Seems to take several fillings of water compartment to get to where soap no longer showing up in dirty water compartment. Even though the machine is easy to use, it is very time consuming and tiring to use. Having never used a carpet cleaning machine before, I really don't have any way to compare to past experience with any other machine. Overall, am pretty pleased with it and would recommend other folks try it out.

I just purchased the Hoover Smart Wash Carpet Cleaner after watching the infomercial. It cleans well and does pretty well with pet hair. It doesn't really dry the carpet, but it dries in a few hours.
