I own a Rug Doctor as well and this Hoover system blows it away. I have 2 dogs and 1 is a puppy, so potty training and clean up is my main goal/use. So far after a month, I could not be happier. Easy to use, easy to manage, clean just everything.

I recently pruchased the Hoover Smartwash. This is the 3rd Hoover carpet claener I have purchased. It is superior to the other machines I have owned, But I have one complaint. The tanks for dispensing and collecting water could be a little bigger. a bit of time wssted emtying and filling tanks when doing a larger carpet area. But otherwise a Great Machine

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I am a caregiver for my almost 99 year old father. I do have help who come in. I also have a very old cat and dog. Between my father. Caregivers who spill coffee an coke. 21 year old cat who is sick often. Very rarely ~ but, naturally last week my dog was also sick. Thank goodness I purchased this and don't have the exorbitant carpet cleaning service! I love this machine!

This is the most fabulous cleaner. In one cleaning it has paid for itself. Sorry that I didn't buy it sooner. It cleaned so well & the dry only feature is awesome. Within 2 hours the carpet was bone dry and I could replace the furniture. Also it is so easy to remove all parts & put back together. I would so recommend this to everyone who needs it.

I was very excited to use my new carpet cleaner and 5 minutes in it broke. The brushes stopped turning and both lights are on. Checked for jams, none were found. Very disappointed.
