I bought this machine to replace an older model that had provided many years of excellent service. Hoover improved every feature. This machine is easier to use and clean.The solution tanks are easier to fill and clean also.I highly recommend this product.

I have had three other machines, but never had one that actually made my carpet look almost brand new. I love the fact that the finishing.step is spraying clean water and then absorbing even more water and soap. I had my carpet done professionally and within two months it was dirty looking. It's been 6 months since using rhe Smartwash and it still looks great. A great buy!

It took me a while to unbox and finally put this to use but I am happy with my purchase. I own two other carpet cleaners both of them are quite heavy and have larger tanks but they don't seem to have the effortless movements of this unit. Well this unit is not large it really does a good job. I tested it by vacuuming twice the area I plan to clean I then used my original carpet cleaner and cleaned and area. After it dried I brought out my new Hoover and I re-clean the same area I could not believe the difference The Hoover made. After it dried I again took out one of my other carpet cleaners and ran through the same process only this time there wasn't any residual cleanup needed. I also then tried this Hoover on its own in another room which I had cleaned and vacuumed and after it dried I brought out my older bigger machine and ran over it. I had the same results it did not have anything to pick up the Hoover had done the job. I would The Hoover made. After it dried I again took out one of my other carpet cleaners and ran through the same process only this time there wasn't any residual clean up need it. I also then try this Hoover on its own in another room which I had cleaned and vacuumed and after it dried I brought out my older bigger machine and ran over it. Having tired of "professional" carpet cleaners and their mixed results and expense, I researched all the consumer carpet cleaners available on-line, and conclude the SmartWash+ was the right one. I have not been disappointed. We had a particularly dirty carpet in the master bedroom (pet stains), so that was the first one I used the SmartWash+ on. It did a wonderful job on a challenging target. I got excellent results by following the suggestions in the owner's manual: first application of cleaner; second round of plain water to rinse; and third round of vacuum only to speed up drying. It sounds tedious, but I got this area done in under an hour with great results.

Clean carpets leave you with such a good feeling about your home. This carpet cleaner makes it a great experience. The thought of keeping my carpet clean is no longer a dreaded chore. The ease of the automatic system takes the worries away., Just walk forward to wash and back to dry. How easy is that!
