Few purchases have pleased me as much as the Hoover SmartWash Carpet Cleaner. It performs as advertised. Got some old pet urine stains out on the first try: and they had been there since the previous owners of our house. It's easy to use and doesn't use tons of detergent. By the way, I use the Hoover detergent and it works great. I pre-treat hard stains and let it work a few minutes, then the SmartWash does the rest. I've used the Hoover several times, including on our car interiors. Same excellent results. GREAT PRODUCT HOOVER!

I have only had the chance to use this for one room of carpet. My carpet was pretty bad, and the cleaner gave it new life. I like that you can go over the cleaned area with just water in order to "rinse" the carpet.

We just bought this on friday. I used it today and all I can say is omg!!!!! Everyone should have one. They have come along way. Perfect for people with arthritis cause there is no trigger so it's perfect. Love the wash and dry on it's own and the extra dry option. Our rug was dry almost right away... so happy we chose this one..
