I needed a new machine as I loaned out an older model. I have a small Hoover rug cleaner I purchase about 10 years ago. I needed a bigger one and this machine is great. The extra "dry " feature is great and I showed it off to my family !! It's worth's the cost!!!!!

I recently purchased my 4th Hoover product because I have never had a problem with them over the years. I instantly fell in love with my SmartWash. It was an extreme upgrade from my old Hoover carpet cleaner. About 3 months after I bought it the belt broke. I had no clue as to where my receipt was so I just knew I was screwed. I searched the internet and could not find one company who sold the belt. I ran across a blog and found someone with the same issue. They were informed to contact Hoover. I used the address that was posted on the blog and email this person at Hoover. Within 24 hours I was contacted. He never mentioned a receipt. He asked for my address and phone number and said he'd have a replacement on the way. He was not referring to a replacement belt. He was sending me a whole new unit. I was very skeptical until one showed up on my front porch about 5 days later. I was speechless! Hoover stands behind their product. If I ever need another vacuum or carpet cleaner it'll be nothing but a Hoover!

I'm a pet owner so no matter how well I vacuum I still get pet hair stuck in the clear hood where you see the water coming back into the machine I can take it all a part with ease to clean so it looks brand new after done with it. I did my carpets with my old hoover that I had aprox 6 years went over the carpets again 5 days later,, when I got my new one what amazing job this did it got out more dirt then my old one the attachment is so simple and I like the bag it comes with for storage its also lighter in weight then my old one that I liked i was afraid it would be to light weight for my heavy duty jobs but it does better ! I would and have recommended this machine. My daughter bought a different brand and used mine instead

I discovered the cleaner while visiting my brother, he game me a little demo and I was sold! I immediately bought one for our home and started using it as soon as it arrived. So simple to use and OMG! I had no idea my carpet was so dirty. It not only got out the dirt and grime, it also sucked up a ton of cat/dog hair, which was super easy to clean from the receptor and the brush area. I'll be using the attachments to clean my car this weekend.

I am sorry but I have been extremely disappointed in my Smartwash, I do not think the brush on the rollers is long enough to get down in the carpet. The automatic wash to me is extremely frustrating it takes forever to go back and forth to get a stain cleaned , if I had know it had that feature I would not have purchased it.I would eliminate this feature going forward on new models.
