So many reasons to buy this machine! It's nice when all who enter your home remove their shoes at the door. But have you wondered where have those socks been. Now I don't have to anymore because at the end of the day I just reach for my smart wash and clean and rinse my carpet so easy and fast knowing in the morning it will be super clean again. By the way Mom's have you ever wondered what your baby is really crawling on. Well with the smart wash you don't have to wonder any more. The machine is light and easy enough for you to hold the baby in one arm as you clean the carpet.

Arrived today! I couldn't wait to use it. Set up was simple. Ease of use is effortless. I had shampoo foam coming out the sides at times. When you stop to go in reverse to dry, it doesn't kick into dry mode until an inch into reverse so you always have an inch of carpet left behind wet. My model did fine on the forward (wash) approach, but pulled to the left on the reverse (dry) approach and if you go forward to correct the angle, you are on the wash cycle again so carpet just gets more soaked. I was less than impressed after 30 minutes of trying to clean carpet and put it away to return. Very dissappointing. Nice concept but needs perfecting.

This machine cleans as well as my Hoover MaxExtract which I loved but finally had to replace. Seems like it will last longer as well, the pieces seem sturdier. Only minor comment is that I wish they hadn't taken away the rinse button. You can still rinse but it isn't as convenient. Still recommend based on its cleaning ability though!! It's worth the minor inconvenience, no other brand can get my carpets this clean. Happy customer.

I got this about 2 weeks ago & just now got a chance to try it. As the title says it's Amazing. I have rented carpet cleaners, used professional & even done spot cleaning. I expected this carpet cleaner to do as good as a rental, but it is as good as a professional. The nice thing about this carpet cleaner is you can turn off cleaner & just use dryer. Just like you would use a blow dryer to fluff your hair the dryer on the carpet cleaner fluffs up the carpet, which mine was starting to pack down. Started out vacuuming with a strong vacuum, pretreated spots, then used carpet cleaner. The carpet looks cleaner & no spots or shadows. For the money you would pay a professional, you can own your own carpet cleaner. My house is approximately 1900 square feet with half being carpet. It only took one full container of carpet cleaning solution to clean whole house.

OVERVIEW: We received our SMARTWASH+ two days ago. Delivery was quicker the expected.Yesterday I tried it, following the included Instructions & thorough vacuuming. Assembly was quick a "snap". Clean Water and Recovery tanks are large. Cleaning solution applier bottle holds enough for our entire v. large "great room". We live on acreage in Cent FL. The soil is extremely sandy. We had planned to replace our 16 1/2 yr old carpet at a cost of about $8K to $12K. It was v. ugly & seemed to be worn out. So, I tried SmartWash+. What did I have to lose, but a few $$? OPERATION: The instructions were good. Adding fluids were easy. SW+ "glides" easily. It fit under coffee table, raised foot-rest, etc. The Recovery Tank's useful volume was surprisingly high. It was easy to remove, disassemble, empty, clean & return. I had to check twice to assure that the top (filter) fit correctly atop the clear Tank. It holds about three refills of fresh water. Adding fresh warm water was simple. I tried fairly hot & had no problem. Suction was strong. Extracted water can be seen as removed. That helps determine when carpet is dry, or nearly so. Breakdown is simple by just following Instructions. It cleans perfectly. I took it outside & used a garden spigot to avoid messing my sink & kitchen floor. I used a toothbrush for one or two nooks & crannies, but it probably is not necessary. RESULTS: Our carpet came out like new, way beyond hoped for result. Almost all spots & stains disappeared. A few are barely visible but greatly faded. Only a shoe polish stain will need more work. "Worn" areas now look "like new". Carpet dried quickly. Today, I plan another pass, as Instructions suggest, using plain water. Experience says removal of residual cleaning solution gives carpet a boost in appearance & longevity. Barefoot feels wonderful! I highly recommend, as "highly superior", the Hoover SmartWash+. P.S. I have used the Hoover FloorMate for years on my hard surface floors. It is FABULOUS.

I had recently tossed out my old Scrubber, I had duct taped the attachment hoses to the machine because parts were broken which made it a real pain to use. I saw the infomercial for the Hoover SmartWash on a Sunday a week and a half ago, ordered one on Monday. It came in just a few days and I was so excited to use it. I started with a large living room, which would normally use at least 3 tanks of fresh water with mixing the detergent in the tank. This new machine is amazing. It is so easy to use, and uses so little water. This machine cleans better than any other carpet scrubber than I have ever owned, and I've had several. It seriously only used a little over a tank of water and brought back life to a very old carpet. It brought up the fibers that have been crushed for years from furniture. The brushes have longer bristles that really get deap into the carpet. I am so impressed that I told two of my coworkers about it, and they both have ordered one. You will not be disappointed with this. I cannot wait to clean my other two rooms this weekend. I have 2 big dogs and 2 cats in the house, so there is always something to clean up. I plan on using this for all the smaller messes that come up because it is really lightweight and easy to use. The clean up is so easy because all the parts come off, you rinse brushes and it looks brand new. Just be careful not to pull to hard when cleaning and detaching the part to get to the brushes, I did and I thought I broke it the first day, but I found the spring and I fixed it. I am so glad I ordered this scrubber and it is worth every penny.
