Fabulous cleaner

I received the Smart Wash as a replacement for my previous Hoover Shampoo machine. I love it . Its quieter than my former machine. Cleans great, easy to use and cleanup of the machine is easy and quick. We have 5 cats and 2 dogs and works great deep cleans. The holding tank is a bit smaller but I have less carpet now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've replaced the front cover with the one they sent me,wouldn't not fit brought 2 they didn't fit.so i'm still up the creek with dirty carpets. I liked it because I have cancer and it is light weight,Now ihave dirt every where on the floor.

Just an ok machine

I feel like it put outs more water/cleaner mixture than it sucks up. Carpets don't dry very well either. It is easy to use though and somewhat lightweight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleaned ok. Plastic parts which break easily. hood covering after 5 uses. Cracked. No replacement parts are available and Hoover contacts are non existent. Spoke with a repair person. " Aleays break and parts never available

Our favorite wet vac carpet cleaner

In the the DIY wet-vac carpet cleaner category, this model from Hoover is a winner. Well designed and easy use, with automatic motion sensing forward-wet backward-dry cycles, it does a good job of cleaning any kind of carpet. The parts are easy to take off and snap back on after cleaning. We use it once every couple of months with the Hoover cleaning liquid that is easily available online and in stores.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A well thought out and well engineered product

I have six grandchildren and a Great Pyrenees so this steam cleaner gets a lot of use. I'm really happy with this unit because it does a great job and it's easy to use and easy to clean.
