Oh man. I'm glad I got this! It cleans decently dries quickly. But the best thing about it to me, is how dang easy the thing comes apart making the cleaning up process so so so much nicer and easier than any other machine. And, they were awesome to make sure and not have many crevices and awkward spots that would make wiping the machine incredibly annoying lol. Man do I love that. Rollers come right out so can rinse them off no more belts to mess with and the list goes on!! I clean my carpets fairly often. I've got 3 kids. And I breed large breed dogs. With proper pre treatment and care, this machine so far has no issues cleaning up pet and kid messes

I live in Las Vegas and the desert dust really dirties up the floors. Needed to replace my old Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum and based on the past 14 years, I wanted the same horkhorse. Get a Hoover Floormate Deluxe hard floor cleaner to tackle the tile floors too. The Hoover FloorMate Deluxe did such a great job on the tile floors, I wanted a new carpet cleaner that would perform to the same level. The Hoover SmartWash Automatic Carpet Cleaner exceed my expectations.. The tank capacities (both clean and discharge) are large. The automatic mixing of solution and cleaning action had me worried, but after using I can't imagine using the old way of mixing and pulling a trigger. The unit is powerful and easy to use. My floors never looked this great, with little effort! Great value and performance!

I've had several carpet cleaners in the past. I've even paid professionals and I must say so far this machine is leaps and bounds above the rest. The ease of using this shampooer is astonishingly and refreshingly streamlined. You do nothing more than add water and cleaning solution and you're off. I've so far shampooed my family room, master bedroom, and formal living room. The results were both sickening at the dirt that was removed and shock at how well the Smart Wash did it's job. Do yourself a favor and buy one ASAP.

I have owned a Kirby, (and we know the reputation and cost of these machines), and this machine can't hold a candle to the Hoover Smartwash. I promise you won't go wrong with the Hoover shampooer. Cleans very well, removes the water along with the dirt. I thought my house was clean enough that it really didn't need to be shampooed. i was just using it to see how easy it was to use, since my husband had purchcased it,we figured we should try it out.. Not only did it clean as easy as a top notch vacuum cleaner, (and this is a shampooer), it got out dirt from my carpet that I would have never thought could/would have been there!!!! Definately my choice when it comes to home shampooers.
