This machine is absolutely fantastic. Super easy to use and the results are really great. We first used it in our family room which has heavy foot traffic. The carpet looks fresh and practically new. The drying feature actually works and I was able to put our furniture back the same day. The automatic application of the cleaning fluid is really nice. No more guess work! Great machine.

This product works really well for a rug scrubber (e.g. not a steam cleaner). I especially love the automatic dry feature when pulling backwards. Cleaner last a long time as well. Make sure you protest really dirty areas with Resolve or similar pre- treat product.

I bought this hoover carpet cleaner with the hose, and i must say that I am quite impressed with the cleaning features of the machine. I have shampooed the carpet downstairs and have detailed my car and the trunk of my SUV. Even better job detailing than my detailer!! Very happy!

The vacuum pictured is not the vacuum I am writing a review about. Hoover sent me this link due to one not being available for the model I own. I clean for a living so having a vacuum with the best suction power as possible is a must for me. I not only look for that but I also focus on vacuums that are easy to load/unload and can be in use for long durations. I asked my husband to assist me in researching different vacuum makes and models. I wasn't necessarily looking for a commercial type vacuum but was open to the option. I will admit the process became a little overwhelming so my husband offered to do the "homework". When he sent me the link for the Hoover Shoulder Pro Vac Commercial Model #C2401, I was hesitant due to the fact that I have never used or owned a shoulder vacuum. I was worried about carrying weight around while cleaning. I also didn't feel I would be able to use it in the homes I clean. I did feel it would be perfect for the Commercial Business Offices I clean, if it worked like it claimed. Seeing that we could return the product if we were not satisfied, we decided to purchase it and give it a chance. We have owned this vacuum for over 2 years now( Not sure why I waited to long to write a review) but I will say this is the BEST vacuum I have used for my business. It works on any types of floor, hardwood, carpet, linoleum etc. It includes 4 cleaning tools and 2 metal wands. You can use it to clean walls and ceilings. The fact that the motor is separate from the dome where the debris go was a major selling point for me. Nothing ever gets caught up in the motor so the equipment last a lot longer. It comes with a reusable/ washable cloth liner or you can buy throw away liners. The suction is extremely powerful. It picks up 99% of what is on the area you are vacuuming. I will add it does not pick up paper clips. I clean commercial office buildings and that is one thing it has never and will never pick up. Anything else isn't a problem. The backpack itself is very comfortable on my back and my husbands. He's had back surgery and that's one reason he leaned towards this type of vacuum. I don't feel any pain or fatigue from wearing this vacuum. I have had to wear and use it for 40 minutes at a time. That's another major plus towards this brand and model. They sure made an awesome vacuum when it comes to long term use and not over heating. I am very pleased that we made this purchase and when this vacuum no longer functions, I will definitely purchase from Hoover again.

I was getting ready to get my carpets cleaned when I saw the ad for this carpet cleaner. I was probably going to spend at least $150 so I decided to give this one a try. So the price was right. It claimed to be easy to use and clean and it did not disappoint. The fact that you don't have to mix solution is a plus. And that you don't have to guess on how much solution to put down is another plus. Dry only is a great feature. I cleaned in the evening before bed and used the dry only feature. When I was finished cleaning the carpet was damp but not 'wet'. Went to bed and it was dry when we woke up. I was also impressed with the cleanup. I have owned cleaners before and one of the things I did not like about them was they could not be cleaned good. This one was so different. The parts came off easily, cleaned easily and went back together without a fuss. This was a big plus for me. I would definitely recommend this product.

I received the Hoover Smartwash Automatic Upright Carpet cleaner to test. This machine is AMAZING ! Its so easy to use and my carpets look brand new. When you push the machine forward it shampoos and as you pull it back it dries . It mixes and dispenses the cleaning solution automatically and know when the area is clean. I would recommend this product. Hoover has always been a brand that I trust and they sure didn't let me down this time either !

I bought this in 2018 and I'm just having problems with it I contacted them they're going to replace it it is the best shampoo I've ever had and I've had a lot of shampooers this is my Cadillac Cadillac I love the shampooer I've never had a stain that that carpet cleaner wouldn't get out I live on a farm it even gets the cow manure out Of the carpet
