Simple design features make this cleaner easier to use

It the automatic push forward clean, and pull back dry are brilliant and the dry button mack the process even better. The self mixing of cleaning solution with the ability to just remove the solution container for rinsing eliminates so much extra work. filling and emptying the clean water and extraction water is easy. Learn where the carry hand is. The brush rollers are effective on pet hair and very, very easy to clean. All this wouldn't matter if it didn't deliver results. Amazingly it does. My only criticism is the cord is out the bottom and back of unit and if not kept in hand is easy to step on. (It should be at top of base unit with the ability to shift right or left depending on your preferred hand.)

I had the older model and it was great. Then a belt broke and I contacted the company. They sent me a whole new unit. They made some improvements and I love it even more now.

I had a carpet cleaner that left me with still dirty, wet and somewhat soapy area rugs. I got the Hoover smartwash+ and not only was it cleaned, but it was dry enough to walk on immediately after cleaning! I had just used the old cleaner 2 weeks prior to getting the new one. I was amazed at how much filth came out! I highly recommend the Hoover Smartwatch+ for all your carpets!

Better than the rental machines!

I purchased this after having dogs and needing to clean carpets more without renting. This machine cleans and leaves the carpets looking better than any machine I rented. The customer service is also amazing, I did have an issue 3 years in and no questions asked sent me replacement. Will continue to buy from Hoover.

I have Hoover floor mop also, and it's the best floor mop I have ever used. And that's the reason I want it to try their carpet shampoo machine, and I was 100% satisfied with the ease of use AND CLEANING QUALITY OF MY CARPETS.

It would be a great machine, if it didn't leak

This machine is light, easy to use and clean ( wonderful concept) BUT it leaks ( with 1st use) like a crazy through the body of the machine. My best guess is they got defective parts from supplier, as I've bought the spin scrub last year & it also leaked & got returned. I have contacted Hoover and I'm waiting to see if they'll replace the machine. I really like everything else about this machine. I don't believe fixing this one is a smart option because water literally ran through the machine ( water & electric motor's don't mix). Here's hoping I can give a glowing review after Hoover decides if they'll replace this one. At this point, I would not recommend this machine to anyone, as I won't put someone's life at risk. I'm hoping that can change. I live my Hoover's concepts and my regular vacuum is so wonderful I gave my some the exact same one as a house warming present.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

got the our new machine after our old one died ( after a long life ..35 years ) and put it to work right away. WE loved how easy it was to operate it and that you could see just how much was being vacuumed back out as you were going along. We also loved the rinse action and the " DRY " button feature. It really worked at removing any left over water and drying the rug . We even used the attachment to do our cushions for our lawn furniture .. It was easy to use and we were very happy with the end result. Glad we bought this machine..
