I am very pleased with the performance of this vacuum! It makes it very easy to freshen up or clean my carpets! Pet stains can be cleaned up/erased instantly! Vacuum is lightweight and easy to manuever. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent carpet cleaner. Only problem is the hose attachment. Water only drips out of sprayer; no pressure. Primed like the directions say.........but no luck. Even tried extending hose down a flight of stairs. Guess the pump was defective. Not happy with this since I bought it for use on upholstery also.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got two new puppies. Lots of messes to clean. With the Hoover Smart Wash it was a breeze. Like the feature that mixes the solution as it is needed. Very easy to use. Cleans beautifully.

The SmartWash model that I received is easy to use and seems to do a nice job. I especially like how easy it is to assemble and use. It's performance is much better than the other brands I've used. I would recommend buying the warranty if available. I do not usually buy them but based on my experience, you may use it. Hoover has stood behind my purchase well though.

Easiest carpet cleaner I've used. Ease of Filling and emptying tanks, maneuvering and carrying, disassembling and reassembling for easy clean, and storing. Mostly because of design and that it is much lighter than others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the ease of function with this machine but am upset that ( like many machines) - it leaks. It wouldn't be an issue if it came with a free silicone mat like the one which is offered on an major online website at the same price. ALL machines should come with a mat to help reduce the water that gets on the floor. Instead I must use a towel to help sop up water. So to help remedy the issue I looked on Hoover.com for the mat but you can't even purchase the mat from this site. Very frustrating. If you know leaking is an issue then please give the mat with the product or at least sell the mat so I'm not always sopping up water with a towel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
