[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my purchase. My Hoover is doing its job perfectly well. Yes, I often have to pour out dirty water and pour clean water and in general I spend a lot of time on cleaning, but it is not difficult, you do not spend a lot of energy. The vacuum cleaner dries well too, overall I am very pleased with the purchase. The only thing that I would like to change is that the cord is wrapped up by pressing a button, like some ordinary vacuum cleaners.

I've always trusted the HOOVER name when it comes to making life around my home easier, however, the Smartwash+ has let me down. Not only has it left a section of my carpet black, it started smoking on me after little use. I wish I didn't have to post a negative review, but I don't want someone else ending up in my position.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this product... It gets my carpet really clean and I can trust that it's clean for my crawling baby. Also, Hoover's Customer service was on point. The first one I got wasn't working properly and they had any test a few things and they ended up sending me a brand new one in the box. It works great! Very impressed with their customer service.

Easiest carpet cleaner I've used. Ease of Filling and emptying tanks, maneuvering and carrying, disassembling and reassembling for easy clean, and storing. Mostly because of design and that it is much lighter than others.

Previously posted that after only 6-8 uses the brushes stopped working. Typically a belt issue when this happens. Contacted the company and they promptly took care of the issue.

Broke on first use

I used this product in one room and broke first try. The upholstery hose broke after a couple swipes on our couch and also now leaks. The carpet cleaning unit also seems to look after turning off. I went online to get a replacement part and of course the upholstery tool is not available at this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wouldn't waste my money on this again

I loved this carpet cleaner until it wouldn't spin when cleaning my carpets. It would be nice to be able to find better carpet cleaners that didn't break after so much use. Very disappointed I thought I found a good carpet cleaner but boy was I wrong!
