Title: Hoover Smart Wash - A Total Disappointment!

I'm extremely disappointed with my brand new Hoover Smart Wash. I took it out of the box, followed the instructions, and attempted to use it just once. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all. No water came out, and the machine didn't seem to be functioning properly. I was expecting a high-quality product, but this thing didn't even get the job done once.
Given its poor performance right out of the box, I'm concerned about the build quality and durability of this product. As a brand new purchase, I expected it to work flawlessly, but it seems like I got a dud. I'm not sure if it's a manufacturing defect or a design flaw, but either way, I'm not impressed.
The fact that it didn't work even once is frustrating, and I'm now left wondering if I should return it or try to get a replacement. If you're considering purchasing the Hoover Smart Wash, I'd advise you to think twice and maybe look into other options.
Until Hoover proves otherwise, I'd say avoid this product. Maybe it's just a one-off issue, but based on my experience, I wouldn't take the risk.

Very Disappointed

I have a been a loyal carpet cleaner for many years. I recently bought the smartwash automative carpet cleaner. The wash mode works but the dry mode not so much. It does not dry the carpet and if you use just the "dry cycle only" to pick up excess water it trips the electric circuit breaker. Looking for a new carpet cleaner.

Overpriced piece of junk, broke in 2 yrs.

This machine lasted less than two years. The impeller broke, rendering the upholstery attachment useless. The price tag does not match the poor quality. I’m incredibly disappointed, as I took great care of the machine, always careful to wash and dry the brushes, tanks, and other user-facing components. In spite of my efforts, the poor quality of the machine inevitably caused it to break down through normal and careful use.

I love this carpet cleaner!

Okay I bought this cleaner during Covid but I never took it out of the box because I had so much going on in my life. Then I got sick and spent time in the hospital and now I’m beginning to feel a little better I decided to open and use this product because my carpet needs cleaning desperately. First I cleaned an area rug and it looked brand new so I tried my family room and the carpet is beautiful. The cleaner is easy to use and the water was disgustingly dirty so I know that it works. Now I’m on to other floors in the house! I hate that I waited so long to use it!

This has absolutely surpassed my expectations of a carpet cleaner. The only small downside is it does leave the carpet a little damp even after switching it to just dry.
