I love how simple, easy, and effective this carpet cleaner is! My carpets have never felt and looked so good! No more trigger buttons and complex water tanks. My only complaint is it is awkward to dump the dirty water tank. I wish there was a hole or something so I don't have to completely remove the cover each time.

We bought this cleaner to replace our old Hoover Agility. It does a nice job overall, but we've noticed a couple of things that could be better. 1) The cleaner does not get as close to edges and walls as we would like. 2) We've had some overspray several inches up on speakers, walls, furniture, etc.

The 3rd time I used it, it quit sucking up the water. Now I have a sopping carpet and no way to remove the water. Now I may have to rent an emergency machine. I checked all the connections too. Nothing is loose and nothing is stopped up in the vacuum area. :(

Hi Alice S, We recommend a couple troubleshooting tips to get you back on track with Hoover SmartWash Automatic Cleaning Technology. Please ensure the Removable Recovery Nozzle is properly secured before cleaning your carpet, if misplaced poor to no suction will result. Once a connection is made, continue using dry strokes until little water is visible passing through the nozzle. We also recommend clearing the Screen Filter within the Dirty Water/Recovery Tank of any debris. Just got this a couple of weeks ago and used it yesterday on my round, braided kitchen rug. The rug was so dirty...I was embarrassed to let anyone in the kitchen. I cannot begin to tell you, 1. how easy this was to use and 2. what a great job it did at cleaning. I went over the rug a couple of times and then did the 'dry only' feature, as I was afraid it would be really wet. Great job at drying. It was only slightly damp and I just put a fan on it overnight and it was not damp at all this morning! I love this machine. Can't wait to use it on the rest of the area rugs. Dining room is next! PS...I NEVER write reviews, but had to with this machine as it does everything it says and more!

I am a loyal Hoover purchaser the smart wash is the best. The machine is so easy to use. The clean up of the machine is so easy. This machine must have been designed by a woman. Everything about is so right on target. I've told everyone I know about this carpet cleaner and I feel it's the last carpet cleaner I'll have to buy. It's gonna be hard for Hoover to top this model. The five year warranty is awesome!!!
