We cleaned up a light colored carpet so well that it won't have to be replaced. the unit also did a good job of drying. Our carpets were fully dried in 2 hours afte we finished with the unit. Great affordable product.

Smart way to clean carpets

I was pleasantly surprised with the power of this cleaner. It got rid of some pesky carpet stains that have been there for a few years. The vacuum together with the pretreat and cleaner cleaned my carpet like it was new again. SmartWash assembly was somewhat easy and I had no issues putting it together. It is a little bulky but it gets the job done. Wished I knew about this product earlier. Would've saved me so much more time and effort.

I have cleaned three carpets with this machine. The brushes are very good and move the carpet around. The suction is terrible. The tools for upholstery don't suck AT ALL!! If you are cleaning a thin rug, there is no suction to vacuum the water up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
