This is the easiest carpet cleaner I've ever owned and the carpet came out better than I could have imagined. Love that the machine is clear so you can see exactly what it's doing. Hats off to Hoover for a truly great product that lives up to what they promised. Every homeowner with carpeting need to purchase one. Belive me you won't be disappointed.

Used it several times already. Got koolaid out of my almost white carpet. Deducted a star because the pieces that hold the brush in place are only held on by magnets and are easy to lose with kids who get into everything. Kids definitely lost one and I cant seem to find just that part, only the whole brush. Seems if it comes off that easily I should just be able to buy that specific piece instead of a whole new brush. Havent been able to use it anymore :(

1. Great price. 2. Arrived quickly. 3. Super easy to assemble. 4. Worked as advertised. 5. Carpets look much better. Perfect so far. However, I really dislike those car ads that boast, "Best in initial quality!" Same for any other product. Initial quality is important, but how well will it work five years from now? Time will tell, but so far so good.

I bought this Carpet Cleaner to replace my older Hoover Carpet Cleaner, and there are some improvements made with the newer machine. It is easier to refill and empty the dirty water, and it is lighter. But it is mostly made of plastic and I know that it will wear out more quickly than the previous models. I also prefer to control when the cleaning solution is deposited on the carpet, but this newer machine does not have any release mechanism for that feature, you just have to keep going forward over the same spot to do a deeper cleaning. I like the new brushes on the machine, because the old ones were circular and often filled up with dog hairs. The newer rotating roller brushes seem to clean better.
