What a waste of money

I bought this because my previous Hoover was awesome and lasted me many cleanings. I have used this 3-4 times and it is already falling apart. The soap dispenser lid leaks constantly, and when I last cleaned my carpet there were hundreds of brush roller bristles in the dirty water compartment. What a piece of junk! If this is the best Hoover cleaner, I will be buying from another company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleaned ok. Plastic parts which break easily. hood covering after 5 uses. Cracked. No replacement parts are available and Hoover contacts are non existent. Spoke with a repair person. " Aleays break and parts never available

I've used this machine a few times but during the most recent use it has water leaking out of it. Now when you turn it on it sounds like an airplane taking off. The screeching sound is unbearable and has rendered it unusable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our apartment was slowly becoming more and more stale no matter how much I cleaned. We have one cat and it always smelled like a mix of various cat smells and just general "stink." I vacuumed all the time but I noticed our carpet never looked or felt clean. Decided to get this carpet cleaning vacuum so I could really go all in on deep cleaning it. I didn't want to rent one of the big machines because I wanted something permanent I could use at any time and I wanted something with a hose attachment so I could spot clean as needed and clean my couch and other upholstered items. Well, this vacuum literally has been game-changing! I did a full deep clean of all our carpets and suddenly our place smelled so fresh and the carpets looked equally as clean. So much dirt and cat litter and hair and more were in the dirty water tank after cleaning, it blew my mind! I can't believe we were living with that much dirt before. I've also used it to clean our couch which again was amazing how clean it was afterwards (and disgusting thinking how dirty it was). I love how easy this vacuum is to set up and use. Just fill up the water tank and the solution tank, plug in, and you're ready to go! It automatically switches between cleaning and drying as you push forward and pull back which makes it that much easier. It also has "dry only" mode. The instructions recommended running with the solution first and then doing a "rinse" of your carpet by removing the solution tank and cleaning again to get all the leftover residue out. I followed that recommendation and will be doing that every time because it seems like it really helped with freshening the carpet. Overall I love this vacuum so much and never thought I'd get such joy from a vacuum but it's the real deal. #sweepstakes

solution leaks into main compartment. this is the second carpet cleaner (of the same SKU) we experienced this with. The first one was returned via warranty. Hardly used it (maybe 5 times).
