[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skeptical but mildly hopeful, I purchased the Smart Wash because our still young, two year old Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner failed to remove our dog's urine and fecal stains from the carpet. The Smart Wash somehow not only removed those stains, but also removed what looked like dirt left by the previous home owners five years ago. Buy the Hoover Smart Wash! You won't be disappointed. As a bonus, the Smart Wash is very easy to disassemble and clean. Thank you, Hoover, for saving our carpet.

Great Job at first, broke, got new one

The SmartWash worked great the first time I used it a few months ago. I loved the "Dry Only" feature. For unknown reasons I attempted to use it a few months later and it leaked solution and water when turned off and the "Dry Only" feature didn't work. I chatted with he Hoover representative and went through the warranty process. Quick and easy! They said behind the warranty!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The great thing about this cleaner is that it's easy to take apart and clean completely. That's also a negative thing: after cleaning the brushes, it's tricky putting the nozzle back together. Whle frustrating at first, I now have the hang of it thanks to a helpful customer service agent. Also, like another reviewer, I had to put 2 cups of warm water in the dirty water tank to get the intake moving for one carpet only.
