This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever owned, and I've had quite a few. I've cleaned my own carpets for many years and about 2 years ago we decided to have a professional come in and knock the whole house out....I was disappointed. Last night, I cleaned our living room ( the second area since my purchase) this morning it looks so good! The key is to clean, do it again with just water to extract any residual soap, then a dry only round to finish. Very happy customer, I would recommend this unit to others. Thanks Hoover

I have owned a Kirby, (and we know the reputation and cost of these machines), and this machine can't hold a candle to the Hoover Smartwash. I promise you won't go wrong with the Hoover shampooer. Cleans very well, removes the water along with the dirt. I thought my house was clean enough that it really didn't need to be shampooed. i was just using it to see how easy it was to use, since my husband had purchcased it,we figured we should try it out.. Not only did it clean as easy as a top notch vacuum cleaner, (and this is a shampooer), it got out dirt from my carpet that I would have never thought could/would have been there!!!! Definately my choice when it comes to home shampooers.

I ordered my machine last week and received today. I am SO impressed.. I have owned several carpet cleaners for I have pets and this by far in the best I have ever had. Cleans very well, gets in that deep down dirt, powerful suction and drying. Super easy to clean up after use. I am so so so very happy! My carpet look almost brand new again and it is 20 years old.

I am always impressed with all of the products Hoover makes. Not only are they easy to use, but set up is easy, as well. I think it's important that they are easy to use, also. They work so well. Much better than a professional grade cleaner. I am obsessed with this device and will not own anything other than a Hoover. Being a dog mom (and cat mom), it's important that I have quick and easy access to clean up small accidents. Thank you.
