[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had rainwater back up in our basement from a storm and we were able to clean the carpet in the finished area easily with the cleaner. It was especially nice to see exactly where to focus on thanks to the transparent piece attached to the suction nozzle. You could tell exactly which sections of the carpet needed cleaning. Very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Hoover shampooer. Discovered it was not picking up and drying near as well as our previous Hoover. Called Hoover service. Told me to put two cups of water into the dirty water container. Problem fixed. Seeing as how Hoover is now aware of this a fix should be incorporated. But I am impressed with the customer service.

Stair attachment used once, not will not work.

The stair attachment was used only once, and now will not work. We have followed the instructions to prime, and it still does not work. It has no suction, and the cleaner does not dispense. We have taken off all tanks and replaced three times. Do you have any other suggestions??

No comparison to Bissell pro heat

I have gone through 3 Bisell machines. All were problematical. After our last one stopped sucking water I vowed not to buy another one. I found that hoover does a poor job of guiding you to the right product. We don't have pets so pet hair is not an issue for us. I settled for a smartwash+ mainly because I didn't know what else to buy and the product was available locally. We are amazed at how much better it cleans and how easy it is to use compared to our " top of the line" Bisell cleaner. Our rugs look like they are new again and we couldn't be more pleased.

We've had other carpet cleaners didn't even come Close to this Hoover

Leaks to the Motor.

I love this machine. The only problem I'm having right now with it it's leaking From the soap dispenser to the motor. I'm losing a lot of soap. I wish there was a fix for this.
