This is a well engineered, easy to use, excellent machine. The setup is simple, & cleanup is easy! It did a great job for such a small, lightweight cleaner. The auto feature, clean to dry is nice. You can also set it to dry only!

I just want to take a moment to brag about this. I had Bissel carpet shampooer for four years. It was decent but the seals started leaking after two years and it became a royal pain in the butt, so back in September I looked and looked at online reviews for a new one and found that this Hoover Smart Wash was rated way above the competition, so I ordered it online direct from Hoover. This thing blows the Bissel out of the water big time! Not only cleans better by far, but dries 1000% better. It also has a "Dry only" button that I use afterwards and you can walk on it almost immediately barefoot and not detect any water/moisture. With four dogs, we vacuum daily, but things happen. Dogs can get sick, have accidents, etc., so I try to clean the carpet once monthly. The carpet looks better than the day it was installed every time with this.

I am so happy with this carpet cleaner, it is so easy and cleans so well. I have used it on area rugs and carpet and in stains and all came out beautifully. The double brushes really make it so much better

Just bought it two weeks ago and just love it! It easy to use and it really clean. It just fabulous! My carpet was so dirty nothing clean as good as smart wash.
