I just took this out of the box and assembled it. When I step on the handle release the brushes spin for about 4 seconds and then stop. When this happens the WASH/DRY lights start simultaneously flashing. I have looked in the manual, online, and tried calling the 1800 number (they are closed today, on Saturday, the day most people clean and would need the most assistance in case something goes wrong) and have not found a solution. This is extremely frustrating as I just took it out of the box!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After many years, my old machine suddenly broke and wasn't worth repairing. I quickly ordered this one and am very satisfied so far. It does not have as many features as my old one, and I miss a few of them (spot remover), but it's lighter- thank goodness! And it's much easier to clean. We have two large dogs, so the machine is quickly covered in dog hair.

I have 4 kiddos and 3 dogs. Our house is lived in! Over the years we have tried different steam cleaners and this one by far is the best! Love the 3 different compartments for solution, clean water and dirty water. Love that it lights up when in wash mode and switches to dry mode. I love that you can do a dry only too! When I'm finished I can easily take off the front by brushes and clean it from hair and debris and it looks like new! even comes with some great attachments. Highly recommend!
