Works very well. I like that it has a dry only so I can clean up spilled coffee etc then wash the carpet with the cleaning solution. I also like that I can go back over my carpets to just dry them even more. I like the long hose for upholstery and the tools work great. So far the SmartWash is working great. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

I had several carpet scrubbers but this one is absolutely the best I've owned. So easy to use, no buttons to push, doesn't use a lot of water or cleaning solution. Doesn't leave carpet soaked and the heat Dry really works! My carpet looks amazing.

So far I have used our new Hoover SmartWash on a large area rug in our dining room. Vacuumed, washed, rinsed and let dry for a full day. I vacuumed the rug again after it was dry to pickup any extra rug lint. It looks great and feels great underfoot. Further uses will tell whether it is an excellent carpet cleaner.
