This carpet cleaner is easy to use. I enjoy that I don't have to mix the cleaner with the water. The dry button is nice to help with extra drying strokes. Disassembling and cleaning are a snap and extremely easy. I was surprised at how well it cleaned. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanknyou

I am pleased with my Hoover smart carpet cleaner ! It left my extremely dirty stairway very clean! I definitely recommend it. Only one concern, when you are putting this machine apart to clean it, be careful not to be heavy handed; all parts of it are plastic. Which is ok as long as you are careful.

On my second one. First one had a leak in the detergent tank. Now the replacement on that I've only used for 9 months made a noise and boom the brush gears or belt stops the brushes from turning.

I really never take the time to write reviews but I most definitely had to for this carpet cleaner.This is by far the best carpet cleaner. I had a Bissell before but I saw an info commercial at the gym and although I was skeptical, I decided to give it a try since we just had new carpet installed and Hoover was offering a discount before the holidays. I wasn't planning on using it so soon but our cat got sick on the carpet (orange brown stain) and then I spilled a full glass (half water and half cranberry juice) on my light gray carpet. This machine cleaned it like a charm. I went over it with (dry only) mode. This was at night and in the morning it was totally dry. What a great machine. So easy to use and clean.Thanks Hoover

Cleaned 1 area rug with this and it turned out great! Very easy to use and not too loud. This little gem came in super handy when our washing maching flooded our laundry room and soaked our carpets. Because it has a dry only mode we were able to suck up almost 3 gallons of water out of carpet, preventing it from running down the walls into our first floor.

Had it less then 8 months and it does not suck up the water on the return , it lets out MORE water. VERY disapointed in the product for the price I paid.
