This has done such a great job keeping my floors clean. I'm impressed. I have two cats and they are always into stuff. This takes of all of the accidents.

I have now used this three times and still love it - it does a great job on my carpets and as an added bonus - it is so easy to keep the machine clean - my last machine would get clogged with pet hair and it was a nightmare to try to clean - in fact - I couldn't so - I eventually tossed it and bought this machine - I am so glad I did!

When you first use this machine, it works great! After a couple uses, things begin to breakdown... Randomly the tank would leak from the bottom, the suction would start and stop, and even when you take the solution tank out just so water comes out, it somehow still dispenses solution. There's a reason why they recommend washing carpet's 1-3 times a year MAX, because the machine can't handle much more.... Mind you, I live in a small apartment with only 2 carpet bedrooms. This is my 3rd SmartWash, and unfortunately I am not even able to find the receipts. Customer assistance assures me nothing is wrong but I definitely know the difference from when I first used the machine to now. I have had my current machine (3rd one) for under a year now. I loved Hoover in the past, just concerned that product quality has decreased over the years with newer ownership, yet prices continue to increase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this for a little over a month and I love it I have cleaned all my carpets. I have older dogs so sometimes they can't make it outside it definitely works great on getting the carpet the cleanest. I do recommend it to my family and friends.

I purchased this as I have as older pet with bladder issues. What a great purchase! This machine is easy to operate, fully automatic and easy to clean. No mixing or trying to control the flow of the cleaning product and water. Everything comes apart easily for cleaning and re-assembly.
