Hoover has solved all of the problems that plague every other consumer-type carpet cleaner. Its excellent features are too numerous to list here, but here's an important one: its direction sensor "knows" when you're pushing the cleaner forward, and automatically dispenses the cleaning agent and engages the high-powered brushes-and then as you pull the unit rearward, the sensor disengages the brushes and activates the powerful vacuum that extracts the cleaner from the carpet. For additional extraction, the press of a button allows the unit to keep pulling any remaining liquid until the carpet is almost dry to the touch. The capacity of the Hoover is almost three times that of other brands as regards cleaning solution, clean water, and extracted dirty liquid. The only potential drawback to this excellent appliance is that when filled to capacity, the unit is heavy-but the large wheels and ergonomic handle make it exceptionally maneuverable. This Hoover is the equal of almost every commercial-grade carpet cleaner-and dollar for dollar, it is easily the most affordable carpet cleaner on the market.

I am so very glad I purchased this carpet cleaner. I have cleaned all of the rooms in my home that are carpeted. It cleaned them very nicely and the dry features does pull the water out of the carpet.

I have used about 15646546167489 times since I bought it. I have steam cleaned my fabric couch, our car that had a sunroof leak, carpets, rugs, anything that can be steam cleaned, I have done it. My carpet is only a few years old, so I try to take care of it. +My old steam cleaner was smelly, hard to break down, and never actually "clean" because of hard to reach places, even after alllll the screws were removed. This steam cleaner comes completely apart, and no need for a screw driver yet! Rinse it out in the tub and go! +That free and clear detergent it came with had me SO skeptical.. bc if its not a chemical, it can't clean... right? I NEVER buy that stuff, but I used it bc it was free and I didn't want it sitting in the cabinet for years until I tossed it. OMG. It works so good! I am now a believer. +The view area for the pick up is much more convenient than my other cleaner, and when I dump, I am dumping MUD. This picks up so well, that the mess is so thick in the bottom of the tank that I have to scour it out. +I love that to rinse, you just pop off the cleaner holder and continue on with water. No dumping and replacing, none of that... just pop off the cleaner. You don't even have to stop. +I have never 'rinsed' my carpet before, I am now a believer in that as well. LOL.
