I was enthralled by the commercial for the Hoover Smartwash Carpet cleaner and thought I would give it a shot. Wow could not be happier, I am a person with limit available time for a project like carpet cleaning and this tool makes it a breeze. Best purchase I have made in a long time. We have owned a few carpet cleaners over the years (being dog people) and each one seemed to lack something that made these units a real pain. Whether it was tank locations, operation etc. In our home we have to types of carpet berber and high pile. for reference the berber is a bear to clean. We have used the cleaners with the rollers, the spinning brushes and neither of the old cleaners seemed to really get deep into the pile of berber leaving a top surface that was beautiful but after a few days the deep stain would come back through. Enter the new cleaner...Holy Cow!!! this machine is a powerhouse. Gave the berber the "what-for" with no return stain as of this writing (two weeks later). Awesome. Overall this is a brilliant piece of engineered carpet cleaner. On the Seventh day God rested and told us to get yourself this Hoover and make your life a little bit less stressful.
