I was going to rent one of the carpet cleaners then I came across the Hoover Smartwash and I am so happy I did it Is one of the best and smartest purchases I have made in a long time I was surprised at how well it works everything it says it does is true I didn't think it was gonna work so great my carpet looks almost new again it is so easy to use J have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I was able to use it with ease Thank You Hoover

I'm maybe 2 months in and have used it a few times now. It's nice because I tend to be a clutz and drop food on my floors from time to time. My dog doesn't make too much of a mess but he does get a little mud on carpet when it's damp out. Either way, I've been able to clean up all the messes really easily with this vacuum. The only drawback that I can see so far is that it can't suck up large items. But I believe this is common to all such vacuum cleaners in its catergory and isn't too big of a deal (I pick up the big chunks anyway)
