[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent all week scrubbing our carpets. The carpet is 4 years old The carpet turned out really well. Two days after it was all clean our dog got sick. We thought well what better time to put this scrubber to the test. It fully cleaned the area with no sign of it ever happening.

I got this today for my birthday and let me tell you it is the best present ever. It literally works like a vacuum no triggers to pull easy to empty easy to fill love the dry only feature as well as the water Rinse feature being so easy I've owned several shampooers and this by far is the best one that I've had yet. Thank you Hoover for finally coming up with something that's easy to use works great even with pet hair.

I bought this March 2021 directly from Hoover.com and it lived up to every expectation and more. I fell in love! I would haul it to my friends and clean their carpets/furniture. I have two big dogs and a backyard that becomes a mud bog if it rains, so I used the cleaner regularly. Like every two months I'd moved the furniture and clean all of the carpet. 2 weeks ago, after a rainy weekend I was using it and I started smelling the belt burning up so I shut it off and there's no way to change the belt!! And believe me I tried. "There are no serviceable parts" according to the manual. While I did use it often and on many things, it should have lasted longer than two years, which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. And that makes me hesitate buying another.

Worked great once . Second time the suction stopped working multiple times, shampooing was here and there . Bristles are coming off too .Never again Hoover

I bought this June 2018, its the best carpet cleaner I've ever had. I'm 62 years old and have owned several different brands. This is by far the top of the line in carpet cleaners. I like that there's two separate tanks for water and cleaning solution, plus the suction power is amazing it dries the carpet by extracting (all) the water. I no longer have to go over the carpet several times trying to extract the water, it's dry when I'm done cleaning. I was surprised the attachment for the stairs had the same great suction power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have begun to look for carpets to clean because I so enjoy using my Smartwash+ carpet cleaner. It is so nice to not have to go to a store to rent a carpet cleaner that is 3 times heavier and does not clean as well as the Smartwash+ does. It is so nice to not have to mix the detergent with water each time the fresh water is filled. That's a super feature of this cleaner. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the results but a bit appalled at the dirt coming out of what I thought was moderately dirty carpet. As an example, I have a rug in front of my door that I had given up on getting clean. After a few passes with the Smartwash I could see a visible difference two other cleaners failed to deliver. This cleaner is so far ahead of the competition, they would do well to copy the Smartwash+ features. I've recommended this cleaner to all my friends and relatives.

I bought this on Tuesday (5 days ago) after seeing an ad on TV, then cking the website and "live chat" ing with a Hoover rep. It's really amazing. It was easy to put together - I'm SO grateful for a paper manual with pictures AND words. It was just as easy to take apart after to clean and reassemble. And it worked beautifully. I have a small dog with dirty feet sometimes on an off white carpet. As well he threw up on Tuesday a bit and there is NO sign of anything. I spot cleaned a few other sections of the carpet in different rooms where things had been spilled (green tea for one) and cleaned out pretty well before this cleaner but not suctioned up, just a product and paper towel. So now I know those areas are really clean. The water was dirty! I couldn't be happier. A great product and worth every penny - I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a carpet cleaner. And thanks too to the agent I "chatted" with - her advice and endorsement was spot on. This is a terrific product!!
