The Hoover smartwash automatic carpet cleaner is amazing! It easy to use and even easier to clean which is exactly what I need. My dogs are constantly tracking in mud, my little dog has a bladder problem so she has accidents that I like to get cleaned up right away especially now that I had my baby so I clean my carpets once a week and with that carpt cleaner it's fabulous. It has auto dry with heat Force technology so my carpets take no time to dry. This is definitely the best carpet cleaner I've ever owned. I received this item free for testing purposes all opinions expressed are 100% my own

Works well. Be advised that depending on where you live, what warehouse they ship from, will determine what color you get. Not a massive deal but I was surprised when I opened the box and mine was freakin' maroon and not the pretty real color. ( That matches everything else in my house) Pretty miffed. It also leaves the carpet pretty wet. Didnt exceed recommended passes, and still found myself running the dry only function.

Unfortunately after only using the shampooer less than 10 times, the spin brushes have stopped worked and it's making an awful loud noise.

I've owned this machine for little over two years now and overall it's been great but there was one issue I had about six months into owning it with the dry only button and I was frustrated but Hoover was awesome about it and sent me a box and return label so they could see the problem and fix it. Not only did they send me a brand new machine, they also sent me my old one fixed and restored! This machine does an amazing job and it's much lighter to push than the older previous models. It takes a little bit getting used to it at first since it operates differently than older models. Once you get used to it, it's easy. One complaint I have is it's a pain having to remove the small cleaning solution container and setting it aside for rinsing with water only. (Note: be sure to place it upside down or it will leak cleaning solution all over the floor) Not a deal breaker but I hope with future models there can be a switch to use clean water only for rinsing. One thing I will stress that helps is to clean out the machine good after every cleaning! With this model it is easy to remove the brushes and the plastic covering them. I've always been impressed with Hoover carpet cleaning machines (I've owned older models in the past)
