Loving this product. This is a replacement cleaner because my other hoover "ON" button stopped holding. This new machine is so easy to use. No extra spray buttons to hold. forward to clean, back to dry. simple. After use clean up is Amazing. The cover for the brushes just comes off and the wheels/brushes come out for easy rinse and clean up (all that dog hair that the first vaccum didnt get, the cleaner picks up). It also does a great job on cleaning the carpets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did not take out any stains and hardly could clean up dog pee. I had to use the shampooer several times before it would even clean up one spot of puppy pee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's amazing. My toddler decided to go poop in her floor, after scrubbing to no avail I used my hoover smartwash + and it got all the smeared nastiness out. If u have little ones and carpet you definitely need this! I'm seriously impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't believe I've ever had a Hoover vacuum at all, but the smart feature of this where it sprays as you push and only sucks as you pull back, super helpful. It's also very easy to refill, and empty. And the fact that I can clean the brushes by just popping off the top makes this easily the best carpet shampooer I've ever used.

I purchased this machine in 2020. Used it once and thought it did a great job. About 6 months later, I attempted to use it again, and it would not dispense water or cleaning solution. I called Hoover and after troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new machine. I received the new unit and used it to clean my carpets. 6 months later I again wanted to clean carpets and once again, the machine would not dispense any water or solution. Contacted customer support again, and they sent me my THIRD machine, which I received in May of 2022. I used it to clean carpets and stairs. Then put it away. It is not the middle of November 2022, 6 months later. I wanted to clean carpets for thanksgiving, took the machine out, and lo and behold, the third machine is now doing the same thing,...will not dispense any water or cleaning solution. I attempted to contact customer service. One page of the instruction book says they are open until 7pm EST, while another page says they are open until 6pm EST. Since it was only 4:30p EST, I should have had no problem getting through. However, the answering machine said the offices are open until 5pm EST, and even though it was only 4:30p, it said the offices are closed and to go online to chat with customer service until 7pm. So I went online, and the chat function says no agents are available and to look for other methods of contacting customer service. I previously had confidence in Hoover as a brand, but having gone through THREE machines that were used only once, plus the inability to reach customer service during normal business hours, either by phone or online chat, has totally reversed my feelings about the company and the products they provide. If you only plan to clean your carpets once, by all means, purchase this machine. Just be aware you will only get to use it once, and it will costs you $230 to do that one cleaning job. Cheaper to go outside and hire a professional to do it. I, on the other hand, will keep trying to reach customer service to obtain my FOURTH machine in 2 years.
