Worst purchase I've ever made. Smart wash keeps going out. Sent back twice and use maybe 5 or 6 times and it goes out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've owned 3 smart washes and 2 power dashes. They all broke within a few months of use. Worse company ever. Would rate a zero if it was a choice. I would not get another one even if it was free.

Love my Hoover - SmartWash Automatic Carpet Cleaner

This is a great product is does a fabulous job. I have carpet through out my house and I also have three dogs. They are constantly tracking mud and dirt into the house onto the carpet. Not to mention the pet acciidents they have. I see myself cleaning the carpet every every other month just because of that problem. I also do spot cleaning due to the accidents the dogs may have. It has great suction and my favorite features is I can push forward to clean and pull back to dry my carpet when cleaning it and it delivers a powerful extraction with heat for faster drying and the power brushes removes deep dirt, and pet messes that my pets make. After cleaning my carpet it looks and smells very clean and looks almost like new. It is very simple to operate and take apart to clean after using it. I definlty reccommend this product it does an awesome job. It the best one I've used so far. I love this carpet clearner so very much I even purchased one for my mom for Christmas.

it does the first pass fine.but when i pull it back slowly,as directed,the brushes do not move and the water and soap is still in the rug soaked

We bought our cleaner just a week ago and tested it. It really does an amazing job at cleaning. We replaced our old Hoover smart scrub(6 years old) with this and I can tell the difference. Our old Hoover was great but this takes it to another level. It is a great value and well worth money.

This carpet cleaner works great! There was a urine stain that had been on my floor for over 4 years, it removed it completely! It was so easy to use. Just like vacuuming. The dry mode did a great job, it was only slightly damp after I was finished.
