It would be a great machine, if it didn't leak

This machine is light, easy to use and clean ( wonderful concept) BUT it leaks ( with 1st use) like a crazy through the body of the machine. My best guess is they got defective parts from supplier, as I've bought the spin scrub last year & it also leaked & got returned. I have contacted Hoover and I'm waiting to see if they'll replace the machine. I really like everything else about this machine. I don't believe fixing this one is a smart option because water literally ran through the machine ( water & electric motor's don't mix). Here's hoping I can give a glowing review after Hoover decides if they'll replace this one. At this point, I would not recommend this machine to anyone, as I won't put someone's life at risk. I'm hoping that can change. I live my Hoover's concepts and my regular vacuum is so wonderful I gave my some the exact same one as a house warming present.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is so easy to use! Just like vacuuming! Doesn't leave the carpet soaking wet, just a little damp! When I needed a replacement part, after several years of use, customer service was right on top of it and took care of me immediately!

It came with a nice sized scratch on it and it takes a quite a long time to dry but other than those couple flaws I think it is a good buy and definitely does the trick. I have a seven year old daughter who spills and a french bulldog that has accidents in the house from time to time and it cleans those messes well.

I love this washer, it does a great job. Had mine for about a year. I cleaned it very well after each use, but then it stopped dispensing water. I emailed the company, they asked for a picture of the label on back of machine. I sent it, and then they said they would send me a new one asap. I got a new one within a week, I boxed up the old one and sent it back at no cost to me, very pleasant experience, great customer service... THANK YOU!!
