I purchased this machine a couple years ago and used it regularly. I've gotten A LOT of miles out of it. Recently, one of the plastic tabs on the brush cover broke, and I emailed Hoover to buy a replacement. Instead, they replaced the whole thing! They didn't have a replacement part available so they shipped me an entirely new machine. I'm incredibly impressed with both the machine and the service, and I will continue to be a Hoover customer.

The machine did not pick up the water in a manner that would support carrying the plus in any category. The ability to get answers or even registration information from Hoover was terrible, as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have shampooed every room carpet and 3 rugs in the house with amazing results. I really love the heat process that dries the carpet quickly it can be used the same day. I am thrilled with my purchase and the price also.
