I got my SmartWash automatic carpet cleaner last week. I tried it today for the first time. I am so impressed with how easy it is to operate and how well it cleaned my carpet which sees a lot of dirt on a daily basis.I clean it often but have not used a cleaner that is this awesome. Afterwards cleaning the machine up to store was a breeze, taking the brushes out to rinse off, was so slick! My carpets look new again and without the headaches of pulling the trigger to administer the water and cleaning solution.Thank you Hoover for such a great addition to my home!

I bought this after having watched an infomercial. It works as advertised but be aware that the instructions say for best results that you should rinse the carpet with clean water in the machine. That is an extra step that the infomercial does not cover. Other than that I couldn't be happier with it.
