I love how it cleans however the self propelled brush doesnt turn anymore. Just stopped turning. Nothing stuck. Not sure what to do now. Think i still have a payment or two left on it. Any ideas

I clean houses part time , i use this on my clienteles carpets, everyone is so amazed, my favorite was for a elderly gentleman he called me after he saw his carpet , since he moved in he has never had his carpets cleaned in 5yrs , he was like omg, this whole time i thought the carpets were grey , they are tan

I have owned 4, yes 4, carpet cleaners in the last two years. None have the performance of this Hoover. I am completely converted to this machine and even tempted to buy a spare in case it stops being produced. First of all adding cleaning and solution could literally not be simpler. The bucket holds a ton of water. No trigger to keep track of pressing or not ...this machine keeps track of all of it for you! No buttons to push and nothing to measure. This thing is so fool proof I'd trust my husband with it lol. I love that it mixes the cleaner for me! No guessing and no dripping mix all over the counter. Plus its easier to use than my vacuum

Bought this after my previous carpet cleaner had turned into an incontinent mess maker. Initially impressed w how well this unit cleaned. Turned to disappointment after 5th use. Puddle surrounded the unit when I was done. Initially thought maybe dog had tipped over a water bowl. But, after using today, another puddle w no dog bowl in the area. Trying to figure out how to return it, because not willing to put up w a new "leaker"

HI CMO1, thank you for reviewing the Hoover SmartWash Automatic Carpet Cleaner. To reduce leaking after using your carpet cleaner we recommend that after you are done cleaning, put your unit in the upright position and wait about 5 seconds before turning your unit off. This will allow the water you were just sucking up to finish traveling to your dirty water tank and properly store in there - in turn reducing any leaking! To avoid damage to wood and laminate flooring and to avoid potential slip hazard, after use do not leave the product on wood or laminate surfaces and move to a hard surface and place the unit on an absorbent material (such as a towel) to soak up drips.
