Not as heavy as my old carpet cleaner and like that it mixes water and shampoo so no measuring. Carpet dries quickly since I go over carpet several times and you see all the water it extracts.

I bought this cleaner because,I can take it all apart and throughly clean every part. No dirty particles or hair left in the cleaner,that is awesome! The great thing it is easy to assemble and use. I love the cleaning job it does and you can get a room done in such a short time,and dry it,and back on it in no time flat! I trust Hoover for a great cleaner!

I have had this for 2 months and I love it! So easy to use. I have a three story house and carrying this up and down the stairs is very easy because it is lightweight and they designed it to where it can be carried. Past rug cleaners were heavy and difficult to carry. Not this one! The duel cleaning brushes do their job! The amount of water used is minimal but still does a beautiful job. Carpets dry within an hour or two. Love this machine!

My favorite feature of this machine was the dry feature. My house is designed without hallways, so being able to walk on carpets as soon as possible is so helpful. The shampooer cleaned very well, wasn't too noisy, and was easy to use. My 12 year old granddaughter took a turn at using it, because she thought it was fun to use. I wouldn't go that far, but it was easy. I won't be putting off cleaning the carpets now that I have the SmartWash.
